Operating transmission line
Following the trend of renewable energy development and when renewable energy power plant projects connected to the power system come into operation, the management, operation and repair of 110kV, 220kV lines at power plants will plays an important role in ensuring uninterrupted, safe and reliable power supply.
By 2022, HANWHA BCGE O&M LLC (HBOM) has managed and operated 05 solar power plants that have come into operation with the number of 110kV, 220kV transmission lines:
- Phu My 1,2,3 solar power plants: dual-circuit 220kV line with a length of 18.5km connecting the power plant to the Phu My 220kV station
- Cam Lam Solar Power Plant: 110kV dual-circuit transmission line with a length of 10.89km connecting the power plant to the 110kV station on Cam Ranh peninsula & Trung Son power plant
- Bang Duong solar power plant: 110kV single-circuit transmission line with a length of 10.7km connecting the power plant to the 110kV Thanh Hoa station
- Gaia solar power plant: 110kV dual-circuit line with a length of 26.69km connecting the power plant to the 110kV Thanh Hoa station
In the management and operation of 110kV and 220kV lines, line inspection is carried out throughout to detect long-term damage that will affect the operation of the line to include in the repair plan.
Basic line inspection includes 06 types of inspection, specifically day-by-day, nightly, irregular, breakdown, technical, and overriding. Test items include pole foundation, electric poles, insulators, conductors, lightning conductors, etc. and the test results are evaluated according to the standards specified by the industry, the Code of electrical equipment
In addition to the periodic inspection, the operation status of the equipment is usually measured periodically by the management unit as prescribed, such as measuring the column grounding system, measuring the connection temperature, etc.
Propaganda and mobilization of people living along the safety protection corridor of power transmission lines to participate in line protection is effectively organized in the form of leaflets, loudspeakers, etc.
In parallel with the operation management, the repair and replacement of damaged or defective 110kV and 220kV line equipment is performed by the collective staff of the Line Operation Management Team to ensure quality, technical and safety regulations
